The Newest Family Member

Please meet...? We adopted a new member of our family today from Animal Friends. Formal introductions took place on Sunday, when both he and Grace were still a little shy of each other. "Dog" has a really sweet and mild temperament and Grace is really enjoying her new companion. Second Fiddle has not been seen since Dog arrived on the scene but we're hoping she'll learn to coexist with him soon. Help name the pooch.

Very clever - I noticed that I could not vote more than once for Amstel.

What about "Speckles"?

He is just too cute!

Wasn't me, Daph.

He is really cute and SO sweet. He's got a great disposition!

Unfortunately, he's already responding to Sammy. The folks at Animal Friends called him Sammy Joe. We're going to try to find a name that already incorporates or at least sounds like Sammy.

Osamy? You wouldn't... How about: Cornflakes

Well duh! Now I see the voting thing.

Great name suggestions. Thanks.

how about 'puppy'? he looks like my grandma wood's 'puppy'. that was his name, 'puppy'. i have another idea...why don't we ask pip to name her new pet and friend. he really has a wonderful disposition. i miss pip, puppy and peeps and her two fish.

how about buddy...or i still like 'boliver shagnasty'. how are things progressing with 'peter the penguin'? i need to fix that situation so that everyone comes out a winner.

No Way! I didn't know you guys wanted a dog. You totally could have had Hudson:> I'm digging Mojo - my vote is in.

Mom & Daph: "puppy" and "dog" remind me too much of "deer" and "goat" and that was just a shame, no?

We'll still take Hudson, Sus! We wanted a dog but didn't expect to adopt one so soon. Who visits Animal Friends without coming home with a new friend?? We couldnt' do it, obviously.

Really looking forward to seeing all of you! Like I said, any time is fine for us. (Promise you won't have to sleep in the horse trailer!)

If there are horses in the trailer, I'm sure that's where Grace will want to sleep.

See you in the Spring.
